Moulds can be highly toxic and even deadly. Don't let them ruin your health.
We come to your home or work place, take samples, have them analysed in a laboratory and summarise findings and recommendations for remediation in a report.
A Mould Inspection includes a visual inspection and possibly the inspection of wall cavities, air-conditioning ducts, carpets, sub-floor, ceilings, - depending on the situation.
The report will include direct actions to take and solutions to discuss with builders, landscapers, or architects.
Sampling
… occurs after a thorough inspection.
The report will name the moulds found and the amount found.
In a summary, this information will be collated, judged, and recommendations for your situation will be developed.
We suggest to sample the outside air (as a control) and also check under the house.
You will be able to know whether you are breathing in dangerous moulds and act accordingly.
Note, that not all moulds develop the characteristic musty smell. You might be exposed to a hidden danger.
Fees
Cost is $ 210 p/h for consultation incl. brief report and recommendations, $ 150 for tape or swab sample, $ 180 per air sample, $ 180 for a dust sample.
If your mould consultation forms part of a standard Buildingbiological consultation, there is no hourly fee, just the sample fee (in all cases but the most complex ones).
Travel fees are $ 22 p/h
The options below are only examples, we will accommodate your specific sampling needs in each individual case.
Note, - if you would like to know whether you have active mould growth, and you are not so much interested in an analysis of species, you might want to chose a VOC test, instead: Moulds breathe out VOC chemicals, which are called MVOCs.
