Stay in Touch
I just completed a round of check-up visits and finalised reports and orders. - It is always a big effort, but it’s very well worth it. How wonderful to catch up, to make sure everyone is okay - working on getting better and staying well.
While driving along, I reflected on the importance of staying in touch. The world is one big distraction and we end up locked up in our little boxes, if we are not careful.
How often do we drop everything and invite someone over, rather than checking ‘friends’ on social media, video calling, or messaging someone? - It has been established as a fact, that it is essential for mental health, to meet real people, not their avatars. Our brain is just wired that way.
I realised, how email campaigns and reminders, -even blog posts like this, are no substitute for meeting my clients in person.
Thank you for making the time to invite me into your home! I appreciate your trust.
