We’ve got STANDARDS!

The title of a Buildingbiologist is not protected, - anyone can call themselves a buildingbiologist and even train buildingbiologists.

Anton Schneider, the father of Buildingbiology didn’t mind that, he wanted the concept to spread and benefit as many people as possible. The downside can be, that there invariably would be a few underqualified practitioners, - but that happens in every profession.

Just make sure to check the credentials.

The one thing every Buildingbiologist uses, agrees on and adheres to, is the the Buildingbiological Measuring Standard for sleeping places. It was developed and has been maintained and kept up to date by the Institute for Buildingbiology and Sustainability (IBN, Neubeuern, Germany).

The standard considers the impact on biology and physiology, - that means: Health, wellbeing, sleep. A healthy body is resilient and able to replenish itself in an ever changing environment.

The stressors we are exposed to at the moment are exponential, and more of you will feel the pain of them…. if that is not considered, a chronic condition can be the result.

Look after every aspect of yourself: It is worth the effort. Check in with your diet, exercise, relationships, - and make sure all that happens in a supportive and healthy environment!

A summary of some of the items assessed, is on my website, https://buildingbiologyservices.com/standard
